In October 2022, we had the honor of surprising Kate Sullivan Elementary Principal, Julie Lawson, with Principal of the Month! Julie makes significant contributions to her school and the Leon community, and we took great joy in presenting this award to an amazing educator.
Principal Lawson encourages and celebrates excellence within Kate Sullivan Elementary by highlighting outstanding behavior with a creative recognition initiative that allows students to show off their amazing work in the classroom.
“We want our students to be proud of what they’re accomplishing in the classroom, so when students make straight A’s, display great character, etc. they are awarded a yard sign to celebrate those accomplishments.”
Scott & Wallace is in its fourth year of partnership with Leon County Schools to recognize a Principal of the Month. Leon County Schools Superintendent, Hanna, selects a monthly winner based on numerous criteria, including leadership, resiliency, morale, school beautification, and more.
