We had a blast kicking off the school year with a well-deserved and exciting surprise! Scott & Wallace is bringing back their Winning Classroom program to Leon County to recognize amazing educators and students. This month, Clint Wallace and Robert Scott, Partners at Scott & Wallace, had the pleasure of presenting this award to Josh Stweart of Leon High School
Stewart has been an integral member of the Leon High School staff for almost 22 years teaching Government, Economics, and Student Government. Bringing inspiration and innovation into his classroom, we could not think of a more deserving educator.
“Josh Stewart’s care and compassion for his students is second to none. Through his innovative student government class, he is molding the young students of today to become the adult leaders of tomorrow,” explains Leon County Schools Superintendent, Rocky Hanna.
“I consider it such an honor to be selected as one of the winning classrooms! It is a privilege to be able to do what I do at this wonderful school, surrounded by excellent teachers and student leaders. I love being employed in a job that I want to have, not one that I have to have; it’s pretty cool that other people can see it and share in it with me,” Mr. Stewart exclaims, “Big thanks to Scott & Wallace for their continued dedication and kindness toward our local educators.”
Robert Scott and Clint Wallace, partners at Scott & Wallace, come from families with a passion for education and pride themselves in being champions for the students, teachers, and faculty in our community. Each month Scott & Wallace acknowledges a classroom in Leon County that is winning at education by leading with passion, inviting innovative technology into the curriculum, and guiding each other to achieve. The winning classroom will receive a $150 gift card to spoil their classroom and the incredible educator will receive a brand new iPad and a $100 gift card to Hayward House Bistro in Downtown Tallahassee.
