It was all smiles in Springwood Elementary School as Math Coach, Danielle Vaughn, received the Scott & Wallace December Winning Classroom Award for her hard work year after year. A truly passionate coach and role model, Danielle exemplifies what it means to strive for excellence and student growth.
“Danielle Vaughn is a dedicated, passionate, and highly skilled Math Coach here at Springwood Elementary, going above and beyond to ensure that our students not only excel in mathematics but also develop a genuine excitement for the subject,” Principal Myers of Springwood Elementary shares. “You can find her all around campus in and out of classrooms motivating students and creating excitement for math. Students love coming to her math groups where you might see students being the teacher, black lights, students in construction gear, or standing in their chairs. Whatever it takes to drive the concepts home, Ms. Vaughn is doing it.”
Robert Scott and Clint Wallace, partners at Scott & Wallace, come from families with a passion for education and pride themselves in being champions for the students, teachers, and faculty in our community. Each month Scott & Wallace acknowledges a classroom in Leon County that is winning at education by leading with passion, inviting innovative technology into the curriculum, and guiding each other to achieve. The winning classroom will receive a $150 gift card to spoil their classroom and the incredible educator will receive a brand new iPad and a $100 gift card to Hayward House Bistro in Downtown Tallahassee.
