Scott & Wallace, the Official Injury Lawyers of the Florida State Seminoles, is proud to partner with Florida State Athletics to donate 50 custom Nike backpacks to students at Apalachee Elementary School, a Title I Leon County school. This initiative reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and making a positive impact in the community.
A Celebration for Students
The backpack donation celebration will take place on Thursday, August 14, in the school’s cafeteria. Students and staff can look forward to special appearances from the FSU Cheer Squad and Florida State’s beloved mascot, Cimarron, bringing extra energy and Seminole spirit to the event. Leon County Schools Superintendent Rocky Hanna will also be in attendance to help mark the occasion.
By partnering with Florida State Athletics, Scott & Wallace hopes to ensure students are better prepared for the school year while also showing them that their community is behind them, cheering them on just like the Seminoles do on game day.
Words from the Partners
Robert Scott, Partner at Scott & Wallace, shared what the partnership means:
“At Scott & Wallace, we believe in giving back to the community that has given so much to us. Partnering with Florida State Athletics to provide these backpacks is one small way we can help inspire and support the next generation.”
Clint Wallace, Partner at Scott & Wallace, echoed that sentiment:
“Our law firm is built on values of dedication, service, and integrity — the same values we see in our schools and teachers every day. We’re proud to join forces with FSU Athletics to encourage students as they start the school year.”
Impact Beyond Supplies
For Scott & Wallace and Florida State Athletics, the backpacks are more than just school supplies — they represent confidence, encouragement, and opportunity.
Clint Cure, Vice President for Florida State Global Partnerships, highlighted this impact:
“To most, a backpack may seem small, but to a child, it carries more than supplies — it carries confidence and the tools to dream big. When students are equipped from day one, they step into the classroom believing in themselves and ready to succeed. This partnership with Scott & Wallace allows us to collaborate on impactful local initiatives that exemplify their commitment to the community in which we live and work.”
Continuing the Commitment
Scott & Wallace has long been dedicated to both excellence in the courtroom and meaningful engagement in the community. This backpack initiative is another example of the firm’s mission to serve not only its clients, but also the broader Tallahassee area and the families who call it home.
