At Scott & Wallace, we believe strong communities are built on the dedication of educators who go above and beyond to shape young minds. This December, we are proud to recognize Gwendolyn Forehand, a Kindergarten Teacher at George W. Munroe Elementary School, as our Winning Classroom of the Month.
Ms. Forehand was nominated by her principal, Ms. Jermaine Kirkland, who described her as “one of the most dedicated, committed, and humble teachers I’ve ever met.” According to Ms. Kirkland, Gwendolyn consistently spends a significant amount of time both on and off campus, thoughtfully planning lessons designed to engage her students and ignite a genuine spark for learning at an early age.
As a kindergarten teacher, Ms. Forehand plays a critical role in building the foundation for her students’ educational journeys. Her creativity, intentional lesson planning, and unwavering commitment to her classroom have made a lasting impact—not only on her students, but on her entire school community.
In recognition of her outstanding work, Ms. Forehand was also selected by her colleagues as George W. Munroe Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year—an honor that speaks volumes about the respect she has earned from fellow educators.
Robert Scott, Partner at Scott & Wallace, shared his appreciation for Ms. Forehand’s dedication:
“Teachers like Ms. Forehand help shape the future every single day. Her passion for education and commitment to her students exemplify the values we strive to support through our Winning Classroom program.”
Clint Wallace, Partner at Scott & Wallace, echoed that sentiment:
“We are honored to recognize educators who invest so deeply in their students and their schools. Ms. Forehand’s work in the classroom is making a real and meaningful difference in our community.”
Scott & Wallace also congratulate Ms. Forehand in partnership with Gadsden County Schools, celebrating the dedication of teachers who work tirelessly to support students and families throughout the district.
Through our Winning Classroom of the Month initiative, Scott & Wallace is honored to recognize the teachers, students, and educators in our community who truly make a difference. We are grateful for the passion and purpose educators like Ms. Forehand bring to their classrooms every day, and we are proud to spotlight their impact.
