This October marked the fifth annual Scott & Wallace Spooktacular Halloween Costume Surprise — and it was one of our best years yet!
In the spirit of giving and community, the Scott & Wallace team delivered 150 brand-new Halloween costumes to students at Woodville Elementary, Oak Ridge Elementary, and Sealey Elementary — ensuring that every child had the chance to celebrate Halloween in style. From superheroes to princesses and everything in between, the excitement and smiles were contagious as students picked out their favorite costumes and accessories.
“This is one of our favorite community traditions each year,” said Robert Scott, partner at Scott & Wallace. “Halloween is such a joyful time for kids, and knowing that we can take a little bit of stress off families while bringing smiles to classrooms across Leon County means the world to us.”
What began five years ago as a small idea to support local students has grown into a meaningful annual program that touches hundreds of families across the Tallahassee area. Each year, Scott & Wallace partners with Leon County Schools to identify schools where the donation can make the biggest impact.
“The heart of our firm has always been about people,” added Clint Wallace, partner at Scott & Wallace. “Whether it’s in the courtroom or in the community, we want to stand beside our neighbors and make a difference. Seeing those kids’ faces light up — that’s what it’s all about.”
Leon County Schools Superintendent Rocky Hanna also shared his appreciation for the ongoing partnership and generosity.
