Truly a GRAND surprise! It is with great honor that we present the first Scott & Wallace Winning Classroom Award to Carly Daniel’s second-grade classroom at Kate Sullivan Elementary School!
It was an exciting day at Kate Sullivan Elementary School as students and faculty not only prepared to celebrate their 75th anniversary but were the first school to have a classroom awarded the Winning Classroom Award.
“We’re excited to unveil the new Winning Classroom program with Leon County Schools and recognize Carly Daniel’s second-grade classroom. Her students have been excelling with their reading and writing skills and we’re excited to reward their hard work,” Clint Wallace, partner at Scott & Wallace, stated.
Carly’s hard work and care for her students shine through each and every day and we appreciate her dedication to education. To get in the spirit for the school’s anniversary, her students have been writing their very own opinion texts on what Kate Sullivan means to them and creating colorful images of the school.
“You should see what these kids are doing! They are writing two and three-page papers in her class, reading chapter books, and they are accomplishing things you would never expect a second-grader to do, all because they are in her class!” Principal Julie Lawson exclaims.
We could not think of a better way to spend our day than with the smiling faces of Carly Daniel’s classroom and we commend her and her students for their incredible work so far this school year.
