For 13 years, the Taylor Moseley Memorial Scholarship has served as a lasting tribute to a remarkable young woman whose compassion, kindness, and commitment to others continue to inspire our community.
This year, Scott & Wallace is proud to announce Kaeden Collier, a senior at Lincoln High School, as the 2026 recipient of the Taylor Moseley Memorial Scholarship.
Taylor Moseley was a bright, caring young woman with a dream of becoming a nurse and a passion for helping others. Following her tragic passing, Scott & Wallace had the privilege of representing Taylor’s family and walking alongside them through an unimaginable loss. From that journey, a meaningful legacy was created—one that honors Taylor’s life by recognizing students who embody the same character, generosity, and compassion that defined her.
Each year, the scholarship is awarded to a Lincoln High School senior who demonstrates a commitment to serving others and making a positive impact on those around them. This year’s recipient stood out for those very qualities.
Why Kaeden Was Selected
Taylor’s mother, Teresa Davis, played an important role in selecting this year’s recipient and saw many of Taylor’s qualities reflected in Kaeden.
“Kaeden is because he reminds me of Taylor and the respect that he treats everyone with, regardless of who you are. Even if you were not in the popular crowd, he loves his family, and Taylor loved her family with all of her heart just like Kaeden.
She was generous to a fault. She would give you the shirt off her back if needed, just like Kaeden. She was generous, sociable, and lovable. We didn’t know until after Taylor passed away the impact she had on so many people. Friends came to me afterward telling me how she sat down with them when they were going through a hard time or if they were unhappy for one reason or another, and she wouldn’t stop until she made them laugh.
Kaeden, stay in this mindset. Love everyone, be kind with a kind heart, and you will go all the places that you dream of going. You will accomplish all of your dreams. Good luck, Kaeden, in all that you do.”
A Legacy That Lives On
For the attorneys and staff at Scott & Wallace, the Taylor Moseley Memorial Scholarship is about more than financial support—it’s about ensuring that Taylor’s legacy continues to inspire future generations.
“Taylor’s story has stayed with us for many years, and it is an honor to help carry her legacy forward through this scholarship,” said Robert Scott, Partner at Scott & Wallace. “When we look for recipients, we aren’t just looking at academic achievement. We’re looking for students who demonstrate compassion, character, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Kaeden embodies those qualities, and we are proud to recognize him with this year’s scholarship.”
Clint Wallace echoed those sentiments.
“One of the most rewarding parts of this scholarship is seeing young people who lead with kindness and serve others without expecting anything in return,” said Clint Wallace, Partner at Scott & Wallace. “Kaeden’s character, leadership, and respect for others are exactly the qualities that Taylor represented. We know he has a bright future ahead, and we’re honored to be a small part of that journey.”
Looking Ahead
As Kaeden prepares for the next chapter of his life, the Taylor Moseley Memorial Scholarship serves as a reminder that kindness, compassion, and service leave a lasting impact.
Scott & Wallace congratulate Kaeden Collier on this well-deserved recognition and thank the Moseley family for allowing Taylor’s legacy to continue inspiring students throughout our community.
Through this scholarship, Taylor’s spirit lives on—not only in memory, but through the lives of the young people who choose every day to lead with kindness and serve others.
