At Scott & Wallace, we believe that outstanding educators are the backbone of our communities, and we’re honored to recognize them through our monthly “Winning Classroom of the Month” initiative. For May, we are proud to spotlight Mrs. Elisabet Roberts, a beloved third-grade teacher at Florida State University Schools (FSUS), who exemplifies passion, dedication, and heart in everything she does.
Mrs. Roberts’ story is especially powerful—not only is she an extraordinary educator, but she now teaches in the very same classroom where she once sat as a student. That full-circle moment infuses her teaching with a deep personal connection and a sense of pride that radiates through her work.
K–8 FSUS Principal Suzanne Wilkinson shared this heartfelt reflection:
“Mrs. Roberts is one of those rare educators who inspires admiration from students, parents, and colleagues alike. Parents often say she is the teacher everyone hopes their child will have—kind, passionate, and deeply committed to their growth. Her radiant smile and warm spirit make her classroom a haven for learning. She goes above and beyond, offering tutoring and extra reading time, and does whatever it takes to ensure her students succeed. She truly moves mountains for her kids.”
