The Taylor Moseley Scholarship

Scott & Wallace, Tallahassee, Lawyer, Personal Injury, Dog BitesIt is not the length of life that is most important, but instead the depth of life. Beautiful, both inside and out, Taylor Moseley had a zest for life that was unmatched. As those who knew her would attest, Taylor never met a stranger and was the very definition of friendly and fun-loving. She loved to dance, go to the beach, and, most of all, share the company of others. She cherished her friends and family with all her heart.

Taylor was also fiercely loyal, protective, and courageous. She could always be counted on to come to the rescue of anyone who was being mistreated, to stand by those who were deemed “unpopular”, and to lend a helping hand to those who were less fortunate.

In 2011, Taylor graduated from Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida. She planned to pursue a nursing degree. However, on the morning of July 13, 2011, Taylor was tragically killed in a car accident. This tragedy shook the entire Tallahassee community. And yet, while Taylor was taken far too soon, her memory lives on. Her spirit continues to thrive in her mother, Teresa, her father Al, her step-father, Jimmy, her sister Tiffani, her grandparents, Donald and Gloria, and the hundreds of family and friends that adored her.

Our firm is honored to endow the Taylor Moseley Scholarship, which will allow a Lincoln High School senior who embodies the very qualities that made Taylor so special to continue his or her educational pursuits. We celebrate the life of Taylor Moseley and we invite all Lincoln High School seniors to submit their resume along with a short statement explaining why he or she is deserving of the Taylor Moseley Scholarship.

Scott & Wallace, along with Taylor’s family, will select the recipient each year, and the scholarship will be awarded at the annual Lincoln High Scholarship banquet. To submit your essay, please use the box below.
